DO:
- watch your betta swim when you have a spare moment.
- take care of your betta.
- give your betta special betta water, condition your own sink water with betta conditioner, or let your own water sit for a few days before putting your betta in it.
- love your betta!
DON'T:
- be mad at your betta for not being active or sleeping.
- put two bettas in the same tank without a separator.
- put your betta in direct sunlight.
- change all the water in your betta's tank.
- ignore your betta completely.
REMEMBER:
- you don't HAVE to buy your betta an air bubble blower or anything like that.
- you don't HAVE to buy your betta a fancy tank.
- bettas are most active when the temperature is over 70 degrees Fahrenheit.
- they might not eat much because their stomachs are the size of their eyeballs.
- there are many types and colors of bettas to choose from!
